Xtava PRO Allure 2200W Classic Hair Dryer Review

I finally have a blow dryer! I have owned an Andis Styler 1875 for as long as I can remember but it has not dried my hair at the speed that this Xtava hair dryer has accomplished with my hair. I also love that the hair dryer has a concentrator nozzle allowing me to precisely target sections of my hair to dry.  I also love that I am able to get my hair dried in less than 20 minutes! With the Andis Styler it took me about 30-40 minutes just to dry my hair and since I like my hair bone straight I would have to follow that with two rounds of the flat iron. When I would blow dry my hair with the Andis Styler I was left with dry puffy and frizzy hair, but with this hair dryer my hair is naturally straighter and less puffy. I am now able to dry my hair quickly and pass the flat iron only once and achieve bone straight hair and although it takes me less time to dry my hair, not once did I smell it burn my hair! This hair dryer has dramatically reduced the time I spend on my hair routine! 

The hair dryer features two speeds and three heat settings (high, medium and low) to offer control and professional styling versatility for all hair types. While high heat is appropriate for thick or coarse hair, low heat is better suited for thin or fragile hair. These speed settings allow you to customize the hair dryer for your hair needs. the hair dryer also has a powerful Cold Shot Button that releases cool air. What is good about this button is that the cool air fixes your styling and holds your hair while taming frizz! Basically, heat allows you to style your hair while the cool function sets it so you can look fabulous longer! The hair dryer is light weight only weighing 1.6 pounds so this means that your arms won't get tired as quickly from holding up the hair dryer. It also has a long swivel cord that allows you to move more freely and prevents tangles from forming which is important from me because in the past I found myself having to bend my neck to get the dryer to my hair. I love that this hair dryer features a small hook so you can hang it up for your convenience! Overall, I am really impressed with the quality of this hair dryer. It has truly exceeded my expectations. I am a very happy girl! ^_^

Trust me when I say this: This looks good compared to other times I've blow dried my hair! Other times I have ended up with a puffy afro!

This was achieved with just ONE passing of the flat iron! I usually have to do two passings but not this time! YAY

ADAGIO Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Flat Iron Hair Straightener Review

I received this ADAGIO Professional Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic Flat Iron from Xtava for free in exchange for my honest unbiased opinion of the product and you can purchase one on Amazon by Clicking Here. 

 I recently received this Adagio Ceramic Tourmaline Ionic flat iron hair straightener for reviewing purposes. The straightener has a ten gear temperature selection that goes from 200 to 400 degrees. I have to admit that the iron gets hot in no time. "Big deal" you might think, but this is a big deal for me. It usually takes me about an hour and a half to 2 hours just to straighten my hair. No, I'm not slow at straightening my hair, I just happen to have unruly hair that doesn't respect me LOL. This straightener achieved what my more expensive straightener could not: It got my hair straight in 45 minutes. Granted I had to do a second passing of the iron but that is normally my routine to get it bone straight. The second time around it only took me fifteen minutes to do my hair and I was amazed at how beautiful it looked and how fast it took to get my hair that way!

Best thing I love about this straightener is the fact that it was able to get my hair straight in under an hour! The iron comes along with a black heat resistant bag for storage and carrying when you need to travel with it. This is perfect because you can put the hot iron in it without worrying that you are going to burn something. I am also impressed at the fact that the iron shuts down within 30 minutes of you not using it. You cannot imagine what relief this brings me because I am the type of person that can turn something off, leave the room or house and then forget and wonder if I actually turned it off and have to return to make sure I did or else I'd go crazy! Now I don't have to worry about that. I can keep my mind at ease knowing that even if I forgot to turn it off or unplug it, the iron shuts itself off with inactivity! I absolutely love that the cord swivels 360 degrees which is great because that means the cord won't be in your way while trying to do your hair. I also love that the cord is long. I am able to comfortably pull the straightener in any direction without having to bend my neck to straighten my hair like I have done in the past with other irons. I also love the handle which has a non-slip ergonomic grip which makes it easy to hold. Everything about this straightener is great. I, however, am not saying it is perfect. It has its drawbacks such as it snagged my hair a few times and the handle got a little hot to hold at the tip, but then again I have experienced this with other expensive irons as well. Cantu Oil Sheen Review

About two weeks ago I went to a friend's house to prepare for a career fair being held at our alma matter. We did each other's hair and then she sprayed this oil sheen in my hair. The result was spectacular. My hair looked like it was done by a professional and all because of this oil sheen! (Granted, she did my hair nicely LOL, but the point is that this spray gave my hair the finishing touch it needed). I had to buy one for myself. This product smells so good and leaves my hair looking nice and shiny. I'm not talking about that "greasy shiny look, the one that looks like you haven't washed your hair for days look." NO, I'm talking about that, "you just got out of the salon shiny look." The added benefit of this product is that it's a deep conditioning spray and it helps prevent heat damage. What's not to love about that? Below is the picture of me the day of the career fair:

You can really notice the difference from the before and after pictures. There is a shine that my before picture does not have yet it is not a greasy kind of shiny look. Overall, I love the way this product leaves my hair looking. It smells good, it does whait it claims to do and it doesn't break the bank.
