Peppermint & Lavender Essential Oils Review

Lavender oil is a multipurpose oil. It is great to use as aromatherapy to help relax after a long, stressful day, can be used on pillows, curtains and comforters and blankets as a linen spray, and can also be used in your favorite essential oil diffuser to have the house smelling great! Of course there are many more uses for this oil. My all time favorite way to use this oil is as an insect repellent. I absolutely hate mosquitoes and spiders. I do not want them near me. This is amazing for repelling them away. My boyfriend says that of course they're repelled by the oil because it has such a strong scent. This fact is true. Normally this oil is known to reduce tension headaches and migraines, but the smell is so strong that it actually gives me a headache! The smell is very overpowering. I could smell the oil before I even took it out of the packaging the first day it arrived and my entire room smelled of it as I opened the bottle. My boyfriend hates the smell. I made the mistake of rubbing some on a cotton ball around the corners of my walls to keep the spiders away. The positive was that the spiders stayed away, the negative was that we were unable to sleep due to the strong smell in the room so we slept with the door open. Since InstaNatural's Lavender Essential Oil is extracted from the oil glands of the Lavendula Officinalis plant and is carefully steam-distilled during the extraction process, you are left with the concentrated oil. There are no added ingredients or fillers in the formula so the oil is 100% pure and undiluted. I believe if you dilute the oil though it will be soothing and great to help you relax. This product is not terrible and I actually would recommend this product to others. 

The peppermint oil is strong also and has a very refreshing smell to it. InstaNatural's Peppermint Essential Oil is extracted from dried or fresh leaves from the Mentha Piperita herb, giving it a sharp menthol fragrance. The peppermint smell reminds me of Christmas morning and is very calming and soothing! It is also great to use as a decongestant and to use in essential oil diffusers to get the house smelling great.
