I'm the type of person that likes to listen to my music very loud. In the morning while I'm getting ready for work, in my car with the windows down and earphones in my ear when I'm out I'll always have the music blasted. I can't help but feel that when the music I listen to sounds loud it sounds better and I love that this software optimizes my hearing experience on my Dell laptop! The sound that comes from my laptop is dramatically better. While my laptop didn't sound bad it definitely needed some improvement and the Hear software made it all the better. This software is fully compatible withWindows™ XP, Windows™ Vista, Windows™ 7, Windows™ 8, and Windows 8.1, as well as Mac OS 10.7.5 or later. 

To be honest, when I first installed the software and opened it I was overwhelmed. There are literally so many different sound effect options to choose from that I couldn't decide where to start. There are sound options to choose from for Games, Movies and TV, Speech, Music and more and those categories have tons of options to choose from. It takes a little getting familiar with the software to understand what all the buttons mean and what features you have but the 26 page user manual helps you get familiarized with the software so you can get comfortable and start listening to better quality sound. Since installing this software
evrything sounds so much better. Watching movies is great because I am hearing them the way they were intended to be watched; loud with scrisp sounds making me feel like I am at the movie theater and my music sounds better than ever ^_^
