This is such a great product for those of us who are not too tall. I am 5'4 which is about average height but I don't consider myself to be tall per say; I still have difficulty reaching certain things. This reacher has a great grip and it improves the quality of life for people who find bending and reaching difficult. It is perfect for the elderly because it saves their back (or anyone using it for that matter) and helps you reach things easily that you normally would need a step stool for. I love the independence this reacher gives you! This reacher is light weight, easy to use, and its super grippy, soft silicone jaws and ergonomically designed trigger make picking things up a breeze. It is made out of high grade aluminium to prevent rusting making it perfect for outdoor use. This has definitely made my life a bit easier. Before, I found myself constantly reaching for the step stool or tiptoeing to get things down from the top shelf, but now I am able to grab anything from the highest shelf without a problem. The "Reach it Grab it" is 32" overall lengthwise, has a jaw opening of 4" at the tips and tapers to 3" and has a swivel head that offers a full 90 degree turning angle. For the swivel head to function, lift the head fist then twist! Very user friendly!
